Maintenance Technician

About the role

Qnity is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliable operation of production and automation equipment in its advanced electronics manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities that keep the factory running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and repairs on production equipment and related systems.
• Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate equipment maintenance records and documentation.
• Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements to increase availability and efficiency.
• Support Maintenance Engineers on equipment upgrades, automation projects, and new installations.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve daily equipment issues.
• Ensure all equipment operations comply with safety, quality, and production standards.

Required profile

• Associate degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in preventive maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, repair, and improve production equipment.
• Strong analytical skills for equipment failure analysis and root‑cause determination.
