Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Join Qnity’s dynamic team as a Maintenance Engineer, supporting the production of advanced electronics. You will ensure equipment reliability, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate across functions to keep manufacturing operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot production equipment to guarantee stable operation.
• Develop and execute maintenance plans that reduce downtime and equipment failures.
• Conduct failure analysis, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor equipment performance data, propose optimization projects, and lead technology upgrades.
• Provide technical support to production, process, and quality teams, and assist with new equipment installation and ramp‑up.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair histories, and technical documentation.
• Share knowledge with technicians and new hires, and stay current on emerging maintenance technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in non‑standard automation production line projects.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and strong cost‑control skills for spare parts, energy, and manpower.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical information clearly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with mainstream PLCs and fieldbus communication systems.
• Experience with manipulators, industrial robots, and vision systems.
• Strong programming capabilities in related software.
• Knowledge of MES platforms and cost‑control methodologies.
