Local Site Support Engineer (Onsite) – China

About the role

We are seeking experienced Local Site Support (LSS) Engineers to deliver onsite IT assistance across multiple Chinese cities. The role involves direct interaction with end‑users, handling hardware, software, and network issues, and supporting office infrastructure on a day‑to‑day basis.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
• Assist with device provisioning, de‑provisioning, imaging and temporary replacements.
• Maintain and troubleshoot office IT infrastructure including Wi‑Fi, LAN, switches, routers, access points, printers, AV equipment and smart office systems.
• Coordinate with Level 2 teams, vendors and local service providers for escalated issues.
• Manage IT assets: receive, tag, inventory, audit, warranty repairs and secure disposal.
• Support office moves, hardware refresh projects and on‑site events.
• Document incidents, resolutions and assist with compliance activities such as SOX audits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in onsite or field IT support.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities for desktops, laptops, peripherals and mobile devices.
• Basic understanding of LAN/Wi‑Fi networking and related equipment.
• Experience with IT asset management and hardware lifecycle processes.
• Good communication and customer‑service skills, able to work independently onsite.
