Legal Counsel (Shanghai)

About the role

Schaeffler, a global technology leader serving the automotive, aerospace and industrial sectors, is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its Shanghai team. You will provide expert legal support on commercial and technology matters, ensuring compliance and protecting the company’s interests.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, comment on and negotiate commercial and technology contracts.
• Manage regional corporate affairs and advise senior management on legal issues.
• Deliver legal training to employees and supervise compliance with applicable regulations.
• Interpret new legal regulations and integrate them into company processes.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or higher in Law.
• Qualified PRC Bar member.
• 3–5 years of experience as a lawyer in a reputable Chinese law firm.
• Corporate or M&A experience is preferred.
• Proficient English language skills.
