Lead Product Quality Engineer – Low Voltage Platforms (Asia)

About the role

As the Lead Product Quality Engineer for Low Voltage platforms in Asia, you will be the primary quality representative for Bosch's EM/AT sector in China. You will work closely with project and department heads, ensuring that product maturity and process compliance meet both local and global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all EPQ activities for LV platforms across China, acting as the main point of contact for quality matters.
• Build and develop a local EPQ team, including onboarding and mentoring new members.
• Represent the quality perspective in local steering committees and communicate with senior management.
• Plan and request preventive quality measures such as DRBFM, FAM, RM, and QG.
• Assess product maturity objectively and report through the independent quality channel.
• Drive process simplification tailored to Chinese and global markets, supporting the "From China, for China and for the world" strategy.

Required profile

• Technical degree (e.g., engineering).
• Several years of experience in development projects with responsibility for quality, including project planning and tracking.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Assertive personality with a focus on teamwork and leadership.

Required skills

• Quality methods and processes: QG, PS, 8D, RM.
• Product development tools: FAM, DRBFM, FMEA, ASPICE.
