Lab Technologist 检验技师

About the role

The laboratory technologist is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of specimens from collection through analysis. This role supports multiple testing areas, including clinical chemistry, hematology, blood bank, microbiology, immunology, body fluid analysis, and PCR when applicable.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor specimen collection, identification, transport, storage, and processing to guarantee pre‑test quality.
• Prepare reagents, standards and controls according to established procedures.
• Perform tests and analyses across clinical chemistry, hematology, blood bank, microbiology, immunology, body fluid and PCR platforms.
• Verify test results before release and conduct quality‑control activities on instruments and reagents.
• Identify instrument malfunctions or out‑of‑control results, take corrective actions and report to the supervisor.
• Maintain laboratory equipment following standard maintenance protocols.
• Answer queries from physicians and nurses, handle complaints and initiate corrective measures.
• Train new staff on laboratory techniques and deliver internal lectures on test methods or related diseases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field or equivalent certification as a laboratory technologist.
• Intermediate English proficiency (listening, speaking, reading, writing) is preferred.
• Valid PCR license if performing PCR testing.
• Ability to evaluate new techniques, solve specimen‑processing problems, and differentiate technical, instrument or physiological causes of unexpected results.
• Understanding of scientific principles, test selection, result confidentiality and safety regulations.
