Key Account Manager

About the role

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to drive new business opportunities and secure profitable contracts. This role requires strong negotiation skills, technical product knowledge, and the ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with OEMs.
• Present company products, system concepts, and project summaries to OEM stakeholders.
• Coordinate pre‑project screening with internal and Shanghai teams.
• Deliver business cases to senior management and support decision‑making.
• Prepare and manage vehicle‑level quotation packages with cross‑functional teams.
• Lead price negotiations and obtain signed contracts from OEMs.
• Address commercial issues related to program and project management.
• Support plant operations to improve OEM account management.
• Collaborate with application engineering and service functions to meet OEM requirements.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the General Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, or Trading.
• At least 6 years of experience in multinational companies with strong sales background.
• Experience in material handling, off‑highway, or automotive sectors is preferred.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts, resolve commercial, quality, and delivery issues.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, travel frequently, and demonstrate maturity and responsibility.
• Fluent oral and written English.
