Key Account Manager – Home and Commercial

About the role

The Key Account Manager (KAM) drives growth and delivers superior service to existing medium‑sized customers within an assigned territory. Acting as the primary internal sales contact, the KAM handles inquiries, prepares quotes, and supports CSA Group’s testing, inspection and certification (TIC) services.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and manage the sales process for assigned accounts, responding promptly to client inquiries.
• Prioritise work assignments, prepare cost proposals using questionnaires and worksheets, and maintain accurate client files in the shared sales database.
• Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and develop approaches to secure new business.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales team to promote new business and with the Marketing team to support events and communications.
• Contact current customers to promote CSA testing services, prepare and send quotes, and conduct follow‑up calls.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing medium‑sized accounts.
• Strong ability to initiate and drive the sales cycle.
• Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
• Organisational skills to prioritise tasks and maintain detailed records.
• Team‑oriented mindset, working effectively with sales and marketing colleagues.
