Junior Accountant – Bilingual (Shanghai)

About the role

Reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager, APAC, this position supports finance operations with a focus on invoicing and end‑to‑end accounting. The role ensures that all financial outputs are processed accurately and on time, contributing directly to the company’s financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and validate tax invoices for North Asia.
• Manage billing and perform invoice reconciliation.
• Allocate client collections and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Handle customer and vendor queries.
• Provide accurate data for month‑end reporting.
• Support tax and audit processes with required documentation.
• Assist the manager on specific projects and ad‑hoc duties.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Taxation, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting or finance experience in a mid‑to‑large organization.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin.
• Willingness to work on a 36‑month contract.
• Strong stakeholder management and service‑delivery orientation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with tax systems and invoicing processes.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Experience in a customer‑facing environment.
