International Legal Counsel

About the role

The International Legal Counsel will support the company’s overseas operations by ensuring contracts are robust, compliance is maintained, and legal risks are managed. This role combines contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and dispute management across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and negotiate international commercial contracts, improve contract quality, and mitigate contractual risks.
• Support compliance matters for overseas subsidiaries, including employment, marketing, data privacy, and trade compliance.
• Assist with risk management for overseas litigation and disputes, conduct legal research, coordinate external counsel, and track case progress.
• Provide legal support on international matters such as overseas investment research, analysis of regulatory developments, and country‑specific risk assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law.
• Minimum 5 years of legal experience, with at least 3 years handling international or cross‑border matters.
• Experience in the renewable energy or manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with EU legal and compliance issues is a strong plus.
• Professional proficiency in English as a working language.
