Inside Sales Representative – Cargo Sales (China)

About the role

As an Inside Sales Representative for cargo sales, you will support both assigned and unassigned accounts across China, handling bookings, rate quotes, pricing, and billing issues. You will work closely with Account Executives to generate revenue, manage high‑value shipments, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inside sales activities for all accounts, including bookings, rate quotes, pricing, and billing problem resolution.
• Support assigned Account Executives by handling incoming sales matters, trucking coordination, and proactive revenue‑generating calls.
• Develop out‑call programs for house accounts and manage high‑value shipments such as temperature‑controlled and pet‑safe cargo.
• Assist with special programs, including market‑value pricing, telemarketing, contract rate agreements, and promotional trade shows.
• Prepare regular performance reports, adhoc pricing analyses, cargo volume studies, and customer fulfillment tracking.
• Troubleshoot service issues, provide shipment tracing updates, and coordinate claim requests with internal teams.
• Maintain and update DG files to meet CAAC compliance and provide ad‑hoc operational support as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cargo sales or operations.
• Proficiency with computer booking systems.
• Legal authorization to work in China without sponsorship.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
