Indirect Tax Manager – APAC

About the role

Haleon is seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to lead VAT and indirect tax strategy across the APAC region. You will work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial and Procurement teams to ensure compliant, efficient tax structures that support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide VAT and indirect tax advice on legal entity structures, product flows and business changes.
• Analyse tax implications of transactions, trade routes, customer and distributor models, and supply‑chain adjustments.
• Oversee compliance activities such as VAT registrations, returns, reconciliations and data‑quality checks.
• Assist in managing VAT audits and tax authority enquiries, coordinating with external advisors as needed.
• Act as a trusted advisor on tax matters affecting pricing, margins, contracts and market entry.
• Contribute indirect tax expertise to transformation projects, system changes and process design to ensure correct tax outcomes by design.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in VAT advisory or compliance.
• Strong technical knowledge of VAT and indirect tax in a multinational or advisory environment.
• Proven experience supporting indirect tax compliance and audits across multiple jurisdictions.
