IBDP Curriculum Coordinator – International School in Ningbo

About the role

The school is seeking an experienced IBDP Curriculum Coordinator to lead the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme across its campus in Ningbo. This full‑time position starts in August 2026 and involves both programme management and teaching responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the implementation of the IBDP programme school‑wide.
• Ensure compliance with all IB requirements for delivery and administration.
• Support teachers with curriculum planning, assessment practices, and effective subject delivery.
• Coordinate internal assessments, Extended Essay, CAS, TOK, and examination procedures.
• Organise and lead collaborative planning meetings for IBDP staff.
• Provide training, mentoring, and professional guidance to IBDP teachers.
• Monitor student progress and work with teachers, parents, and leadership to support achievement.
• Communicate programme details to parents and the wider school community.
• Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports related to IBDP implementation.
• Liaise with the IB organisation to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Contribute to whole‑school academic planning and curriculum development.
• Take on relevant teaching responsibilities, preferably in English or Theory of Knowledge (TOK).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related subject.
• Teaching certificate or relevant teaching qualification.
• Foreign teacher with a background in English or TOK.
• Minimum two years of experience working in an IB school.
• Previous IBDP teaching experience is required; coordination experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of IB curriculum, assessment, and programme requirements.

• Monthly salary of 30,000 – 33,300 RMB (commensurate with experience).
