HR Partner & Site HR Manager – Shanghai

About the role

Cabot Corporation is seeking an experienced HR Partner & Site HR Manager to lead the Shanghai Holding Office, the hub for Cabot China and Asia Pacific. The role blends strategic HR business partnering with hands‑on site HR leadership, driving talent, culture and employee experience across R&D, Global Business Services and corporate functions.

Key responsibilities

• Implement Cabot’s HR strategy for the Shanghai Holding Office, aligning people initiatives with business priorities.
• Partner with leaders in GBS, R&D and functional departments to translate business needs into HR actions.
• Identify, attract, develop and retain talent required for current priorities and future growth.
• Conduct organization diagnostics, optimize structures, and enhance team effectiveness and leadership capability.
• Leverage workforce data, HR insights and employee feedback to inform talent and organization decisions.
• Coordinate HR programs and processes with regional and global teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR business partner or site HR manager in a multinational environment.
• Strong ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders and influence decision‑making.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering HR solutions that support growth and capability building.
• Motivation to contribute to Cabot’s expansion in China and the Asia‑Pacific region.
