Hotel Manager – Pre‑opening Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Hotel Manager will lead the pre‑opening team of the new Kempinski Hotel in Xiongan, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving revenue growth. Reporting to the Managing Director, the role combines operational oversight, staff development and project leadership in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the General Manager’s deputy, representing the MD in their absence.
• Coordinate and control all operational processes, delegating tasks to department heads.
• Drive sales optimisation and manage promotional activities to meet budget targets.
• Oversee budget creation, cost control, forecasting and yield management for rooms and F&B.
• Implement safety, security and fire‑protection measures in line with local regulations.
• Monitor quality standards across public and back‑of‑house areas and initiate corrective actions.
• Lead cross‑functional projects and ensure continuous improvement of work processes.
• Conduct performance reviews, career planning and disciplinary actions in collaboration with the GM.

Required profile

• More than 10 years of management experience, preferably in luxury hotels.
• Strong analytical, execution and decision‑making abilities.
• Proven team‑leadership and motivational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Solid planning, organisational and budgeting capabilities.
