About the role
AVEVA is seeking a Principal Architect to lead the design and delivery of its HMI/SCADA solutions. Based in Beijing, you will shape the technical roadmap, ensure scalable architecture, and collaborate with product, development, and system integrator teams.
Key responsibilities
- Define the overall architecture and technical roadmap for HMI/SCADA solutions.
- Lead end-to-end engineering design, including modeling, configuration, deployment, and operational architecture.
- Design scalable data models and reusable frameworks to improve configurability and project efficiency.
- Develop and implement integrated front-end and back-end technical solutions.
- Collaborate with product, development, and system integrator teams to support large-scale industrial projects and promote DevOps practices.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automation, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Strong expertise in HMI/SCADA systems, including tag modeling, visualization configuration, and data flow design.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming and at least one modern front-end framework.
- Solid experience in engineering data modeling, object models, template design, and hierarchical structures.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.
