Head of HR – Surgery MedTech (China)

About the role

The Head of HR for Surgery MedTech China will act as a strategic partner to the business leadership team, shaping people strategy to support growth and innovation in the MedTech sector. Based in Shanghai, you will lead the HR function for the Surgery portfolio, aligning talent, culture, and performance initiatives with the company’s long‑term objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to translate business strategy into HR priorities, including workforce planning and organizational design.
• Design and implement data‑driven talent strategies that attract, develop, and retain the capabilities needed for surgical MedTech innovation.
• Steer culture and employee experience initiatives to foster an inclusive, high‑performance environment.
• Provide leadership coaching, team effectiveness programs, and performance acceleration support.
• Collaborate across the OneHR model to deliver integrated talent and organizational solutions.
• Analyze internal and external workforce trends to inform organizational health diagnostics.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading HR functions in large, complex, technology‑focused organizations.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to influence senior leadership on strategic decisions.
• Demonstrated expertise in talent strategy, workforce planning, and organizational design.
• Excellent analytical skills and comfort using data to drive HR decisions.
• Experience working in a global, matrixed environment, preferably within healthcare or MedTech.
