Head of Finance Control – Asia Pacific

About the role

The Head of Finance Control – Asia Pacific leads financial planning & analysis, internal control, and operational performance monitoring across roughly ten APAC countries. Reporting to the CFO, the role ensures financial integrity, compliance and supports the region’s growth strategy through strong finance business partnering.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise monthly financial closing, ensure accurate reporting and lead performance reviews with regional management.
• Coordinate annual budgeting, periodic forecasts and drive adoption of budgeting tools.
• Design, implement and enforce a robust internal control framework covering order‑to‑cash, procure‑to‑pay, treasury, record‑to‑report and cross‑functional processes.
• Standardise procedures, enforce segregation of duties and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Monitor operational financial performance, margin consistency, accruals, WIP and invoicing quality.
• Provide financial leadership for business plans, strategic initiatives and regional expansion, including due diligence for acquisitions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance teams across multiple APAC entities.
• Strong background in financial planning & analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
• Demonstrated ability to design and enforce internal control frameworks and ensure compliance with group policies.
• Experience with treasury, cash management, record‑to‑report and audit coordination.
• Ability to partner with senior regional managers and drive financial discipline.
