Head of eSales

About the role

As Head of eSales you will lead a high‑performing digital sales team that promotes Elsevier’s health electronic products across Greater China (Mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan). You will work closely with global and local stakeholders to drive revenue, expand market share and build lasting customer trust.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, coach and develop a top‑tier eSales team.
• Achieve sales growth, renewals and profitability targets for the region.
• Manage key relationships with hospitals, medical institutions and other healthcare stakeholders.
• Design and execute sales strategies for major accounts and product portfolios.
• Identify new business opportunities and oversee channel management.
• Collaborate with marketing, customer success, finance and global teams to meet commercial goals.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitive activity to shape long‑term growth plans.

Required profile

• 8+ years of sales and key‑account management experience, preferably in digital, subscription, SaaS or healthcare information solutions.
• Proven leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of the healthcare, hospital or medical sales environment in Greater China.
• Strategic, results‑driven and customer‑focused mindset.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.
