About the role
Join 1000 Miles as a Graphic Designer & Illustrator to create engaging children’s books for ages 4‑12. You will work on‑site in Yiwu, China, collaborating with an international team to bring playful, detailed scenes to life.
Key responsibilities
- Create books from concept to final artwork, including moodboards, scenes, characters, outfits, and interactive pages.
- Design book covers and packaging, preparing print‑ready files with layers, bleed, cut lines and sticker outlines.
- Use AI tools for image generation and editing to explore ideas quickly.
- Collaborate closely with product development and contribute ideas to improve each book.
Required profile
- Honest, energetic, and enjoys teamwork.
- Open to feedback and eager to learn new tools.
- Basic conversational English and willingness to relocate to China.
Required skills
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop.
