Global Category Manager – HVAC Motors

About the role

As a Global Category Manager you will lead the procurement strategy for motors used in Bosch’s HVAC portfolio, covering heat pumps and climate air‑condition solutions worldwide. You will ensure a resilient and efficient supply chain that supports sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global category strategy for HVAC motors.
• Align the strategy with product roadmaps, stakeholder requirements, quantity forecasts, supply market conditions and supplier performance across EMEA, APAC and AME.
• Coordinate definition and follow‑up of all global category activities.
• Manage key agreements with the commercial buyer function, including contract and price negotiations, corporate agreements and commercial price agreements.
• Oversee a complex international environment covering purchase volume, number of suppliers, parts and HC plants worldwide.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• More than five years of experience in strategic commercial procurement, category management and contract negotiations.
• International experience and a technical background in HVAC business and technology is a plus.
• Structured, detail‑oriented and proactive working style with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.
• Strong strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, resilience and adaptability.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
