General Ledger Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a diligent General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team. The role involves managing month‑end close activities, ensuring accurate statutory reporting, and supporting audit processes under both PRC GAAP and US GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor monthly closing checklists, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Maintain SAP access rights and perform system checks.
• Prepare local statutory and statistical reports on a monthly and annual basis.
• Update lease contracts in the corporate system and verify related entries.
• Execute monthly expense accruals, amortizations, and foreign currency translation adjustments.
• Manage fixed assets and coordinate annual physical counts.
• Upload monthly bookings from ERP to Hyperion and respond to SOX inquiries.
• Coordinate internal and external audits under PRC GAAP and US GAAP.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in financial accounting or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of PRC GAAP and US GAAP reporting standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP and Oracle ERP systems.
• Experience using Hyperion for financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and overall MS Office competency.
• Knowledge of SOX control review and audit processes.
