Footwear Designer – RCC APAC

About the role

PUMA is seeking a creative and versatile Footwear Designer to lead the RCC (Rapid Response Creation) line for the APAC region. You will work closely with key accounts, retail, and outlet teams to deliver designs that align with regional trends while supporting the global brand vision.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop all line items, including Select, Special Make‑up, and Rapid Response collections for key accounts, Puma Retail, and outlet channels.
• Monitor regional market trends and translate them into brand‑relevant footwear concepts.
• Create trend boards, material boards, and trim boards to guide the design process.
• Deliver design ranges that complement the international collection while meeting the specific needs of men’s, women’s, and children’s segments in APAC.
• Manage the Vertical Development Calendar, ensuring all milestones are met on time.
• Collaborate with the Team Head of Design, Product Line Manager, Development team, and China merchant team to execute innovative collections.
• Travel to markets, fashion fairs, concept stores, and factories to gather insights and oversee rapid‑response development.

Required profile

• University degree in Design or a related field.
• 5‑8 years of footwear or apparel design experience with leading fashion, lifestyle, or sports brands.
• Proven ability to design across men’s, women’s, and children’s categories.
• Strong autonomous work ethic combined with effective teamwork in a diverse environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and time‑management skills.
• Fluent English communication and presentation abilities.
