Floor Supervisor – Housekeeping

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Floor Supervisor to lead the daily housekeeping operations on guest‑room floors at JEN Hangzhou By Shangri‑La. The role ensures rooms and public areas meet the brand’s high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction during the hotel’s pre‑opening phase.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of guest‑room floors, including room cleaning, linen replacement and amenities replenishment.
• Supervise and assign tasks to the floor team (room attendants, floor attendants) and provide on‑site guidance.
• Conduct random inspections of cleaned rooms and public areas, verify cleanliness and facility integrity, and follow up on any deficiencies.
• Coordinate with the front office and housekeeping departments to prioritize cleaning tasks, ensure timely room readiness and handle special guest requests.
• Manage floor supplies such as cleaning agents, linen and amenities, monitor inventory levels and report shortages or excesses.

Required profile

• Technical secondary school education or higher; experience in hotel housekeeping or floor management preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in hotel guest‑room operations, familiar with cleaning processes and hygiene standards.
• Ability to identify common guest‑room facility issues and guide staff on standardized handling methods.
• Strong communication and coordination skills for cross‑departmental collaboration and guest interaction.
• Detail‑oriented, responsible and able to work shifts and respond to emergency cleaning tasks.
