Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller to lead and build the finance and administrative functions for our China operations. Reporting to the General Manager with a dotted‑line to the Global CFO, you will own the end‑to‑end financial cycles and drive efficiency, automation and accuracy across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare local financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns and regulatory filings.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate consolidation in line with US GAAP and IFRS.
• Produce internal financial reports, budgets, forecasts and senior‑leadership presentations.
• Drive business‑process automation and develop finance policies to strengthen internal controls.
• Support new business initiatives, cost‑finance methods and finance‑system implementations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and oversee quarterly and annual audit activities.
• Oversee payroll, credit approvals, insurance and VAT compliance.

Required profile

• Corporate finance professional with solid experience in finance operations.
• Strong attention to detail and a builder mindset.
• Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast‑growing environment.
• Data‑driven and process‑oriented with a hands‑on attitude.
