Financial Controller – China

About the role

Wego Chemical Group is seeking a Financial Controller to lead finance and administrative operations in China. Reporting to the General Manager with a dotted‑line to the Global CFO, you will own the end‑to‑end financial cycle and drive process efficiency across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare local financial statements, tax returns and regulatory reports for external stakeholders.
• Execute monthly, quarterly and annual close procedures, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
• Produce consolidated financial reports, budgets, forecasts and senior‑leadership presentations.
• Standardize processes, automate workflows and strengthen internal controls.
• Partner with external auditors to facilitate timely audits and reviews.
• Manage payroll, credit approvals, insurance and VAT activities.
• Lead internal administrative functions including legal, IT, HR and facilities.

Required profile

• Corporate finance operations experience with a proven track record of building finance functions.
• Strong analytical mindset, detail‑oriented and comfortable handling multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to work hands‑on, lead projects and influence cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• Experience with month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Familiarity with audit coordination and financial reporting.
