Financial Accounting Team Leader

About the role

ABB is seeking a Financial Accounting Team Leader to drive the performance of its Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Tax functions. You will lead a professional team, champion automation, and ensure accurate, timely financial operations across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, train and manage AR, AP and TAX processes, defining job responsibilities and assessment standards.
• Design daily work processes, operation norms and allocate resources to meet service level targets.
• Supervise progress, quality and timely completion of all financial tasks.
• Lead, coach and develop team members, setting clear goals and providing regular feedback.
• Promote automation and digitalisation using Power BI, Power Automate and Power Query.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting, planning and analysis to reduce manual effort.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, accounting, tax or a related field.
• More than 5 years of relevant financial experience, including at least 3 years of team‑management experience.
• Proficiency in US GAAP, Chinese Accounting Standards and applicable fiscal and tax regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• High adaptability to a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
