Finance Operations Senior Associate – Shanghai

About the role

Join PwC's Advisory Acceleration Centre in Shanghai as a Finance Operations Senior Associate. You will support global finance transformation projects, helping clients optimise end‑to‑end finance processes and leverage leading ERP and analytics platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and redesign finance value streams (Record‑to‑Report, Procure‑to‑Pay, Order‑to‑Cash, Acquire‑to‑Retire) including policies, SOPs, RACI matrices and control remediation.
• Accelerate record‑to‑report cycles through close calendar standardisation, journal rationalisation and automated reconciliations using BlackLine, Trintech, Oracle FCCS/ARCS, SAP or Workday.
• Identify automation opportunities and implement RPA, low‑code workflows and process‑mining tools such as Celonis and Signavio.
• Build driver‑based forecasting and planning models with Excel, Alteryx or Python, and deploy them in Anaplan, Oracle EPM, SAP Analytics Cloud or Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Rationalise reporting inventories, define KPI libraries and create self‑service dashboards on Power BI, Tableau, Oracle FDI/OTBI, SAP Analytics Cloud or Workday Prism.
