Finance Controller

About the role

The Finance Controller will oversee the implementation of accounting policies, support monthly financial closing, and provide insightful analysis to drive business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accounting policies, procedures and practices are implemented in line with group and statutory requirements.
• Support monthly closing, forecasting, budgeting and the preparation of financial plans, reports and KPI dashboards.
• Analyse revenue, profit and cost data by product, customer and sector, and work with sales teams on variance analysis.
• Liaise with shared‑services accounting to ensure compliance with group reporting manuals, tax, legal and audit requirements.
• Contribute to working‑capital optimisation, cash‑pool management, interest and currency risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• At least 5 years of finance experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a medium‑ or large‑size foreign‑invested company.
• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and taxation.
• Fluent spoken and written English; comfortable interacting with senior management in both Chinese and foreign contexts.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and typical accounting software.
