Field Sales – Prepared Food & Beverage

About the role

Join Alfa Laval’s Shanghai team to drive sales of our systems, products and services for the prepared food and beverage industry. You will work in a fast‑moving environment, building relationships with customers and contributing to a more resource‑efficient world.

Key responsibilities

• Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote Alfa Laval solutions.
• Analyse market insights and customer buying behaviour to create sales plans aligned with business unit targets.
• Identify, manage and convert leads into business opportunities, maintaining a growing pipeline.
• Conduct customer visits, meetings and interactions to understand needs and showcase product value.
• Manage the commercial operation using tools such as OneCRM, planning proactively and maintaining a customer grid.
• Develop profitable quotes, highlight unique selling points and follow up to achieve high hit‑rates.

Required profile

• 8+ years of sales or application experience, preferably in the prepared food and beverage sector.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering, food & hygienic processing, or related field.
• Hunter‑type sales mindset with strong business acumen.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Excellent interpersonal and cross‑cultural communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage large projects, negotiate and maintain extensive customer networks.
• Resilient under pressure, customer‑oriented and willing to travel.
