Field Application Engineer – MEMS & IC Solutions

About the role

Join Bosch as a Field Application Engineer focused on MEMS and IC technologies. You will work closely with sales and R&D teams to promote sensor products, support customers, and drive projects from concept to mass production.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to promote MEMS sensor products and provide technical support.
• Track customer project progress and manage projects to ensure timely delivery to mass production.
• Deliver technical training to sales, distributors, and customers.
• Work with Bosch Application Engineers to develop custom hardware/software reference designs.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, including R&D, quality, and purchasing contacts.

Required profile

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation, or Vehicle Engineering.
• Experience with sensor systems, data acquisition, and signal processing.
• Background in automotive embedded software, MEMS IMU principles, calibration, and navigation algorithms.
• Knowledge of ISO26262 functional safety.
• Fluent in spoken and written English for communication with German teams.
• Strong teamwork, self‑discipline, and initiative.

Required skills

• MEMS sensor and IC product expertise.
• Radar system performance troubleshooting (signal integrity, interference, calibration).
• Embedded software development on automotive‑grade MCUs.
• Hardware design using Altium or Cadence.
• C programming.
