Executive Housekeeper (Luxury Hotel)

About the role

We are seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping department of the iconic Fairmont Peace Hotel in Shanghai, ensuring luxury standards and exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain luxury cleaning, maintenance and service standards.
• Prepare the annual departmental budget and manage staff costs, guest supplies, and linen laundry spending.
• Review operating data regularly and suggest improvements.
• Coordinate with Front Office on room status updates and schedule check‑out cleaning and in‑room servicing.
• Handle guest complaints and emergencies, coordinating with relevant departments for prompt resolution.
• Lead, inspire and develop the housekeeping team, nurturing the Heartist culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of executive housekeeper experience within luxury international hotel brands.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese, able to handle daily correspondence and cross‑departmental matters.
• Outstanding communication and coordination skills with a service‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain service quality during busy periods.
• Strong budget control, operational planning and team leadership capabilities.
