About the role
We are looking for an Officer 1 in Environment, Health & Safety to join our paper manufacturing plant. The role involves operating boiler equipment, handling paper through the wash process and ensuring a safe and clean work environment. You will be part of a team dedicated to sustainable resource development and will receive training to enhance your career.
Key responsibilities
- Remove boiler covers using hoist and wrenches.
- Position stock boxes under boiler openings to receive cooked paper.
- Push loaded paper to the washer using a hoist.
- Complete wash cycles and convey material to designated areas for further processing.
- Record wash cycle times on production sheets.
- Clean equipment and work area regularly.
- Perform other duties as instructed.
Required profile
- Ability to work safely in an industrial environment.
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety procedures.
Required skills
- Hoist operation.
- Use of wrenches.
