English Teacher – Teach ESL to Young Learners in China

About the role

English 1 is seeking enthusiastic English teachers to deliver high‑quality ESL instruction to children and teenagers aged 3–16 across its network of schools in China. This full‑time, on‑site position offers the chance to live abroad, gain international classroom experience, and develop your teaching career in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach English as a Foreign Language (EFL) using a structured curriculum and modern teaching technology.
• Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that promote communicative language teaching (CLT) and interactive learning.
• Monitor student progress, provide personalized feedback, and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Participate in school events, cultural exchange programs, and extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a dynamic, student‑focused classroom atmosphere.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Valid passport and willingness to relocate to China.
• Interest in international education, travel, and cultural exchange.
• Clean background check.
• TEFL / TESOL / CELTA certification preferred (sponsorship available for qualified candidates).

• Ability to deliver engaging ESL lessons using structured curriculum and modern teaching tools.
• Strong classroom management and communicative language teaching techniques.
