Director of Sales – Greater China

About the role

As Sales Director you will build and lead a new high‑performing sales team focused on new client acquisition in Greater China. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will own the strategy, execution and scaling of this new business unit while collaborating closely with the existing sales organization.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and coach a team of 5‑10 high‑impact Account Executives.
• Design repeatable playbooks for new‑business acquisition across retail, finance, automotive and AI sectors.
• Implement rigorous pipeline management and forecasting using Salesforce (SFDC) or HubSpot.
• Own and exceed quarterly new‑business targets (ARR, pipeline coverage, expansion).
• Collaborate with marketing on account‑based strategies for enterprise clients.

Required profile

• 5+ years as a Sales Director in SaaS with proven success scaling teams of 10‑30+ AEs.
• Deep mastery of the China SaaS market, including buying cycles, procurement and compliance.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, able to negotiate complex enterprise deals.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to collaborate with parallel sales leaders.

Required skills

• Expertise in Salesforce (SFDC) or HubSpot for pipeline management.
• Experience with Martech/CDP trends and partnership technology.
