Director, Marketing Communications

About the role

Prologis is seeking a strategic Marketing Communications Director to shape and tell the company’s story in China. The role blends brand strategy, corporate communications, media relations, crisis management, and marketing enablement to strengthen Prologis’ reputation and support commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead brand and communications strategies tailored to the China market, ensuring alignment with global positioning.
• Build an annual communication framework covering corporate, product, and thought‑leadership narratives.
• Maintain and expand relationships with industry, financial, and official media; lead interviews, feature stories, and editorial placements.
• Design and execute multi‑channel media campaigns to amplify corporate reputation.
• Establish a proactive public sentiment monitoring system and lead coordinated crisis responses.
• Oversee design and production of on‑brand digital and print marketing materials.
• Partner with business teams to create targeted marketing programs, sales enablement tools, and industry events.
• Provide strategic executive and internal communications support.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in marketing communications, preferably within logistics, real estate, or related sectors.
• Deep understanding of the Chinese market and media landscape.
• Strong business orientation with the ability to link communications to measurable outcomes.
• Excellent crisis management skills and high emotional intelligence.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with global and local teams.
