DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Shenzhen team and help evolve QIMA’s infrastructure‑as‑code platform. You will work closely with development and operations teams to automate deployments, improve reliability, and support our global quality‑inspection services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain the IaC platform using best‑practice Git branching strategies.
• Implement configuration and automation tools to streamline deployment and update processes across the tech stack.
• Automate application and database deployment pipelines and incident‑response workflows.
• Diagnose production incidents, identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor system performance, propose optimisations and implement improvements.
• Create reusable, future‑proof solutions that meet short‑term needs while allowing scalability.
• Build CI/CD pipelines on AWS or Azure using scripting languages such as Shell and Python.
• Apply Agile and DevOps methodologies to automate the release and monitoring lifecycle.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with infrastructure‑as‑code concepts and tools.
• Strong coding practices and familiarity with Git branching models.
• Proven ability to automate deployments and incident‑response processes.
• Experience troubleshooting production environments and implementing monitoring solutions.
• Comfort working in an Agile, collaborative environment.
