About the role
We are seeking a Design Engineer to lead the development of semi‑active suspension systems, focusing on electronically controlled shock absorbers.
Key responsibilities
- Design intelligent electronically controlled shock absorbers using CATIA.
- Support and participate in semi‑active shock absorber RFQs.
- Manage product data with Teamcenter PLM and handle engineering change requests.
- Prepare DFMEA and Component Technical Specifications for electronic shock absorbers.
- Conduct packaging studies and ensure compliance with automotive standards.
Required profile
- 2–3 years experience in semi‑active shock absorber development.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic, Mechatronic or Automotive Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics and automotive control theory.
- Fluent in English.
- Familiarity with automotive development lifecycle and standards.
Required skills
- Expert level CATIA.
- Teamcenter PLM system.
- DFMEA and CTS preparation.
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- Amesim, Mathcad and other CAE tools (preferred).
- Knowledge of automotive product design and testing standards for shock absorbers.
