Data Engineer – Enterprise Data Integration

About the role

BEUMER Group is seeking a Data Engineer to build and manage the data foundation that enables AI across the organization. You will ensure seamless integration of enterprise data, delivering high‑quality, AI‑ready assets for analytics, automation and AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise data integrations and API‑based data exchange.
• Build and operate scalable data pipelines that provide reliable access to business‑critical data.
• Integrate ERP, CRM, HR, Finance, Manufacturing and external systems into the enterprise data platform.
• Manage and optimise data ingestion, transformation and delivery processes.
• Develop semantic models and business data abstraction layers for AI and business users.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, consistency and governance across integrated systems.
• Create reusable integration patterns, data products and data services.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and continuously improve integration and pipeline performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritise data integration opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field.
• More than 3 years of experience in data engineering or data science.
• Strong background in enterprise data integration and API development.
• Experience with Integration Platform‑as‑a‑Service solutions such as Boomi.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Knowledge of Snowflake or comparable cloud data warehouse/lake technologies.
• Understanding of modern data platform architectures, including data lakes and warehouses.
• Experience with semantic data modelling and business data abstraction.
• Familiarity with common data formats such as JSON, XML and Parquet.
