Data Center Technical Support Security Specialist

About the role

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Data Center Technical Support Security Specialist to join its Infrastructure Services team. The role supports the Data Center Physical Security Team by implementing security policies, coordinating operations, and ensuring compliance across assigned data centers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support security activities for assigned data center(s) under manager guidance.
• Assist operating partners in assessing vendor compliance, tracking service deliverables, and escalating corrective actions.
• Provide support to vendors, contractors, and the contract guard force within the data center environment.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and reviews to verify adherence to security standards and policies.
• Support media security requirements and participate in regular meetings with vendors and technical support teams.
• Communicate security policies and procedures to partner teams and raise awareness.
• Troubleshoot security devices in collaboration with the local security system integrator.
