Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

As a Cybersecurity Engineer you will support the rapid expansion of DNV’s Cybersecurity Services, focusing on the maritime sector. You will provide technical expertise for pre‑sales activities and lead the delivery of cybersecurity projects for maritime clients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical support for cybersecurity assessments, compliance and risk management for maritime customers.
• Conduct services based on IEC 62443, IACS UR E26 and IACS UR E27 standards.
• Lead vulnerability assessments, network security reviews and system hardening evaluations.
• Develop technical proposals, define project scope and assist pre‑sales enquiries.
• Stay current with maritime cybersecurity regulations, international standards and class rules.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design tailored cybersecurity strategies.
• Support sales, marketing and business development initiatives for cybersecurity services.
• Manage multiple projects to ensure on‑time, high‑quality delivery.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance requirements and risk‑assessment methodologies in the maritime industry.
• Proven ability to lead technical delivery of complex cybersecurity projects.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and cross‑functional teams.
• Capability to manage several projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
