Customer Production Planner in Logistics

About the role

The Customer Production Planner will support Bosch's logistics operations in Changsha by managing long‑term forecasts, coordinating customer orders, and ensuring smooth production and procurement processes. This role is essential for maintaining reliable delivery performance and optimal inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long‑term forecasts in collaboration with customers.
• Plan, control, and validate customer orders against production capacity, deadlines, and inventory.
• Coordinate ramp‑up and ramp‑down activities, including change management.
• Manage production control and procurement planning with internal overseas suppliers and Bosch plants.
• Monitor delivery performance and ensure inventory targets are met.
• Create and maintain material master data in the ERP system.
• Identify potential supply issues and initiate corrective actions to guarantee on‑time delivery.

Required profile

• Experience in forecast planning, order control, and production scheduling.
• Familiarity with procurement planning and inventory management.
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders across regions.
