Corporate Accountant

About the role

Hawksford is hiring a Corporate Accountant in Shanghai. The role ensures compliance with P.R.C. accounting laws and regulations, keeps financial reporting and records accurate, and handles communication with clients and authorities to support the company's financial integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable P.R.C. laws, regulations, codes and rules of accounting.
• Prepare accurate accounting and reporting in line with company standards and client requirements.
• File vouchers, records and related documents for all clients.
• Communicate with clients, government authorities and other companies, including the tax authority, public finance office, banks and CPA firms.
• Carry out other tasks assigned by the company.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in accounting or taxation.
• Good spoken and written English and Mandarin.
• Reasonable time management, able to work under tight schedules.
• 3-5 years of full-time related experience, or experience in an accounting service firm in a similar role, is a plus.

Required skills

• UFIDA U8 accounting software or other ERP software.
• Business analysis and budget forecasting skills are a plus.
• Experience reviewing junior accountant work is a plus.
