China CAD Sales Manager

About the role

PTC, a global leader in CAD solutions, is looking for a China CAD Sales Manager in Shanghai to drive strategic CAD sales. The role involves selling PTC's CAD software to companies in targeted industry verticals and on a named customer list, building relationships with key executives and managing the full sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Sell PTC's CAD software solutions to target industries and named customers, and develop revenue forecasts with the Regional Director and the CAD segment's Go-To-Market Vice President
• Prospect and develop new accounts while maintaining sales within existing ones
• Understand clients' internal business processes and present tailored technology solutions
• Build relationships with key executives (CEO, COO, CFO, CIO) and departmental managers
• Identify and engage enterprise-level clients and act as a Sales Engineer, translating CAD features into clear pitches, negotiations and demonstrations
• Manage the full sales cycle, from lead qualification and demos to RFP responses, negotiations and contract signing
• Work with channel partners, product engineers and marketing staff to maximise market reach and deal value
• Use data-driven forecasting and pipeline management to meet or exceed sales quotas

Required profile

• 5+ years in enterprise software sales, preferably in CAD or a related engineering software environment, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
• Preferred background in mechanical engineering, architecture or computer science, and the ability to communicate with technical buyers
• Strong presentation, negotiation and closing skills, with experience working with channel partners and distributors
• Bachelor's degree highly preferred but not required
