Business Development Manager – Beverage

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive Ocean Spray’s beverage business growth in the Asia market. Rooted in a deep understanding of Asian beverage trends, the role focuses on end‑user key‑account development, solution‑selling framework creation, and advancing cranberry‑based beverage innovation to unlock customer value and market leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑user key‑account development across China’s RTD, coffee‑chain, milk‑tea, alcoholic and beer‑beverage segments.
• Design and implement cranberry‑beverage solution‑selling frameworks customized for the Asian market.
• Collaborate with customers’ R&D and internal R&D to co‑create concepts, validate formulations, and support prototype trials to commercial launch.
• Analyse China beverage‑market trends, competitive landscape and channel shifts to generate actionable recommendations.
• Develop and execute annual business and key‑account plans, including joint value‑creation strategies with priority accounts.

Required profile

• Minimum 5+ years B2B experience in China’s beverage/food‑ingredient industry with a solid technical background.
• Proven track record of winning and scaling direct end‑user key‑accounts across RTD, coffee‑chain and milk‑tea segments.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills to mobilise marketing, R&D and supply‑chain resources for complex projects.

Required skills

• Beverage formulation and raw‑material application.
• Solution‑selling and end‑to‑end project management (concept‑formulation‑trial‑commercialisation).
• Financial modeling, scenario planning and volume forecasting.
• CRM/SAP or comparable sales‑operation tools.
