Beijing Office Administrator

About the role

Canonical is looking for an Office Administrator to ensure the smooth operation of its Beijing office and hardware certification lab. The role is office‑based and involves creating a welcoming environment for colleagues and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Create a professional, positive and welcoming environment for colleagues and guests.
• Proactively manage front‑of‑house areas, meeting rooms and desk space.
• Handle clerical, administrative and logistical tasks such as ordering supplies, office equipment, and processing invoices.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate across teams throughout the company.

Required profile

• Excellent academic record.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Responsible, accountable and self‑aware.
• Willingness to travel up to twice a year for company events (up to two weeks each).
• Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Adaptable in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.

Required skills

• Ability to understand existing technical systems and suggest improvements.
