Associate Director, Business Excellence BP Lead

About the role

The Associate Director, Business Excellence BP Lead will act as the trusted partner for the PSBU commercial organization in Shanghai, translating strategic priorities into actionable plans and driving disciplined execution. The role focuses on performance management, resource deployment and continuous improvement to deliver sustainable business results.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business performance through forecasting, performance tracking, risk identification and fact‑based decision support.
• Lead annual and quarterly planning, aligning strategy, territory design, resource allocation and performance goals.
• Partner with Marketing, Finance, Customer Excellence and Analytics to ensure governance, incentive alignment and operational excellence.
• Develop and coach a high‑performing team, fostering ownership, collaboration and results‑oriented leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 8 years of pharmaceutical commercial planning or analytics experience.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders in a matrix environment and to manage complex projects.
• Strong business acumen, analytical problem‑solving and data‑driven decision making.
• Fluent in Chinese and English with excellent communication skills.
