Assistant Sales Manager – E‑Commerce (Ali & JD)

About the role

In this role you will build a high‑growth business by scaling up e‑commerce capability, helping improve the lives of millions in China while advancing Philips’ digital transformation in health technology.

Key responsibilities

• Expand the current business on JD and Ali platforms to all e‑commerce channels to increase market share and maximize sell‑out.
• Develop the annual plan covering sales targets, promotions, budget and customer‑experience improvements.
• Achieve sustainable e‑commerce growth through winning strategies, a capable account portfolio and effective cross‑functional collaboration.
• Analyse key business metrics such as sales, site traffic, conversion rates and marketing program performance.
• Formulate recommendations for new activities based on sales data and campaign monitoring.
• Manage A&P to deliver effective in‑store activation both online and offline.
• Cooperate closely with the Market Sales Leader to meet sales targets at key customers and shape local channel strategy.
• Coordinate with the marketing team on category promotion plans and secure relevant resource support.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in a multinational sales management role, with at least 5 years of online/e‑commerce experience.
• Proven account‑manager background familiar with e‑commerce marketplace development and a strong track record.
• Expertise in building and managing key trade‑partner relationships.
• Ability to coordinate across a matrix organization and manage a brand portfolio.
• Demonstrated success in managing sell‑in, sell‑out, market‑share growth and P&L responsibility.
• Fluent in English and native Mandarin.
