Assistant Cluster Revenue Manager

About the role

The Mandarin Oriental Pudong, Shanghai is seeking an Assistant Cluster Revenue Manager to support its Reservations team. Reporting to the Director of Revenue Strategy, you will help shape revenue optimisation across the hotel portfolio, ensuring the property meets its financial and market‑share objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Revenue Strategy in developing and executing revenue optimisation and commercial strategies for assigned hotels.
• Monitor daily pick‑up, pace, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, market share and profitability to identify risks and opportunities.
• Support the creation of short‑term and long‑term forecasts, budgets and annual business plans.
• Conduct demand analysis and recommend pricing strategies to maximise revenue and profitability.
• Analyse competitor pricing, market conditions and industry trends to uncover revenue opportunities.
• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, monthly and ad‑hoc performance reports.
• Participate in weekly Commercial Strategy and Execution meetings, presenting analysis and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Reservations, Front Office and other departments to align commercial objectives and communicate revenue strategies.
• Assist in evaluating transient, corporate, wholesale and group business opportunities.
• Support promotional planning, distribution strategies and market positioning initiatives.
• Execute special projects and assignments delegated by the Director of Revenue Strategy and hotel management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
