Area Construction Quality Manager

About the role

The Area Construction Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing quality management processes across designated construction zones within large‑scale energy and natural resources projects. Working on‑site and travelling between construction yards, the role ensures that safety, quality and environmental standards are met while supporting project delivery on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the project quality plan and inspection‑and‑test strategies for the assigned area.
• Supervise quality control activities across multiple construction sites, ensuring compliance with HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to align quality objectives with overall project goals.
• Monitor and report on quality performance, identifying non‑conformances and driving corrective actions.
• Support the Project Construction Quality Manager in integrating area‑level quality activities into the broader programme.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction quality management, preferably within the energy or natural resources sector.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental (HSE) practices.
• Ability to work on‑site and travel to various construction yards as needed.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with diverse project teams.
